<td width="920"><p><strong><font size="+1">如何提取口腔DNA樣本?</font></strong><br />
<br />
我們實驗室以累積多年經驗，可處理多種DNA樣本，其中最快，準確及方便的國際取DNA方法是由抽取口腔細胞進行。為了方便，匿名私人用途DNA<strong>親子鑑定可在家中自行抽取</strong>口腔細胞再送到本公司化驗。抽取樣本的步驟如下： <br />
<br />
首先，用清水將口腔洗淨，然後再拿起家用棉花棒在受測試者的口腔內抹數十次（重複兩遍）。 <br />
</p>
<p><em>注意：棉花棒需在十五分鐘風乾後才可以包裝起來，並須儲存樣本低於</em><em>4⁰C</em><em>，直到送至本公司化驗</em></p></td>

<h2><a name="understand" id="understand"></a>如何解讀你的DNA測試結果…</h2></b></strong>

<p><strong><font color="#000000">確定:</font></strong> 當父/母的基因全部都能在子/女身上找到，那麼<u>生身父/母的關係就是真實</u>。所計算
得到的總親子指數 (CPI) 如果是100或以上，即準確度是99%或以上，美國血庫组織(監控親子測試機構; 2010 年報) 認為就可以結論是真實的生身父/母的關係。但當<u>父母孩子</u>一起測試，那麼準確度就會超過<strong>99.999%</strong>。如果<u>沒有測試母親</u>，其準確度比<u>父母孩子</u>一起測試相比是較低一些。 </p>
<p><strong><font color="#000000">排除:</font></strong> 當父/母全部的基因都不能在子/女身上找到，引致染色體一些基因不吻合的狀況(排除) ，那麼就<u>排除了生身父/母的關係</u>。美國血庫组織2010 年報提議，要排除親子關總，至少基因要有兩個或以上不吻合，就算己將基因變異率考慮過在內，親子指數 (CPI) 應該是小於0.0001 (準確度低於0.00001%)。</p></td>

<p>如果父母在子女出生時沒有合法結婚，則父親要求確認子女是親生的聲明，需要提交DNA親子鑑定報告（“入境條例|第115章”）核實該兒童在香港特別行政區的永久居民身份。</p><br />
<h3><b>呈交法庭的報告</b></h3>
<p>當繼承遺產時，有些爭議個案，需要家庭成員通過DNA測試來證明他們與死者的關係，在這方面，用於亡者親子鑑定的樣品包括屍檢組織，載玻片上的病理組織或死者的其他生物遺留樣本也可以交給基研測試。 如果沒有來自死者的樣本可用，測試其他近親（例如父親/母親，兄弟/姐妹，姨媽/叔伯）關係是確定關係的另一種選擇。</p> <br />
<h3><b>祖先和長期失散的兄弟姐妹</b></h3>
<p>有些上一代親生兄弟姐妹可能會有不同的姓氏。 改變出生登記證上的姓名需要證明兩個兄弟姐妹是否同一個父親所生。 當他們的父母不方便做測試時，可以測試兄弟姐妹以及祖先或其他家庭成員。</p><br />
<h3><b>保險理賠和社會福利理賠</b></h3>
<p>如果父親或母親希望為孩子購買人壽保險或指定孩子作為他/她的人壽保險受益人，通常需要進行DNA測試以證明兒童是父母親所生。在社會福利索賠中通常需要DNA測試。 例如公共房屋租住權。</p></td>
